One stick, and the air loosens. 'Fragrass' is a fragrance stick of domestically grown igusa, the raw material of tatami, dyed evenly by Kyushu artisans. Because Ikehiko grows the igusa itself, the scent is igusa's own, gentle and free of added fragrance. Put a few stems in a vase you already own and you have a piece of natural-material decor that needs no watering.
Think of it as a more Japanese stand-in for pampas grass or dried flowers. Display, scent, and a little settling of the air, all in one bunch. Choose from seven colors to match the tone of a space, and free-cut to the length you like. The color shifts as it catches the light, a pleasure to watch it age.
